A bit on the side

There are side dish recommendations with each main course but once you have looked through these you may have ideas of your own. If you are still unsure then I am happy to give you further advice.

There is a minimum order of two portions with each side dish.

Thinly sliced potato baked in the oven with lots of cream and a hint of garlic.

Par boiled and tossed in extra virgin olive oil to give them a crunchy texture. Just pop them in your oven and serve!

Thinly sliced potato and red onion are layered with slivers of smoked bacon and baked in the oven in chicken stock.

Creamy and smooth and fluffy. Perfect comfort food

The potatoes are mashed with chives and flat leaf parsley and green herb olive oil.

Fennel baked in Vermouth V, C, D, N
This aniseed flavoured vegetable is not to everyones taste but roasting it in Vermouth mellows the flavour. Great with fish dishes.

This is a wonderful alternative to mashed potato and is a great accompaniment to red meat.

Blanched green beans in garlic olive oil topped with lightly toasted almonds.

Long strips of carrot, blanched and marinaded in a chive and tarragon vinaigrette.

This is a traditional potato salad with gherkin, capers, red onion and a hint of dill with fromage frais instead of mayonnaise to keep it light.

The toasted mustard seeds are wonderfully nutty and the roast pepper gives sweetness to this lovely baby potato salad. (pictured)

Bulghar wheat with the traditional mint, parsley, tomato and cucumber but with an added twist of coriander and pomegranate. There is a bit of chilli in here too giving it a little kick.

I would suggest you choose one or two side dishes to accompany your main course.

Look out for the following symbols to help you make your selection:

V = Vegetarian
C = Coeliac friendly / gluten free
D = Dairy-free
N = Does not contain nuts but has been prepared in area where nuts are used. Those with a serious nut allergy must seek advice
